The Advancement of Nutrition (1982)

 

The material contained in this pamphlet was written for the benefit of all those interested in the scientific advancement of nutrition. This includes health professionals of all kinds, physicians (including, notably, internists, obstetricians and pediatricians) and medical scientists in many areas--biochemistry, physiology, molecular biology, pathology, psychology, endocrinology, oncology. The nutritional process has traditionally been given a minimum of scientific attention, and many aspects of it impinge in important ways on the disciplines just mentioned. These relationships are discussed, and some of the many questions which have not hitherto been asked or answered are presented in Section XVI.
